Course Overview

This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to apply the principles of Competitive Systems and Practices (CSP) to their own work. It covers introductory knowledge CSP and provides participants with skills to improve efficiency in their workplace.

This qualification provides introductory level skills in competitive systems and practices, and is suitable for those looking to implement these practices into their own work, or the work of a small team. It teaches the skills to improve productivity and efficiency, and can be used to assist others to apply the same principles in their own work.

Participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction. It is not suitable for direct entry from school, as it is assumed that a learner has already gained operational or technical skills to complement the training.

After completing this qualification, participants may choose to upgrade to MSS40316 Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices.

This qualification must consist of ten (10) units of competency.

Three (3) core units

MSMENV272 Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices

The balance of the units is designed in consultation with your management team to ensure that the use of lean tools and techniques maximise the outcomes of the program from an overall business perspective.

Participants who demonstrate competency by passing both the theory and practical assessments (for all 10 units) will receive a Qualification in MSS30316 Certificate III in Competitive Systems and Practices issued by the Improve Group RTO #31506.
