A step up from the Diploma, this qualification delves deeper into the supervision of implementation of Competitive Systems and Practices strategies. Candidates for this qualification must be at a managerial level within an organisation.
This qualification is suitable for managers and specialists that are responsible for developing and implementing competitive systems and practices in an organisation. It is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to determine and supervise competitive systems and practices strategies for large organisations with complex systems.
There are no pre-requisites to this qualification, however participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction. It is not suitable for direct entry from school, as it is assumed that a learner has already gained operational or technical skills to complement the training.
Candidates may choose to enter the qualification through a number of entry points including:
- MSS50316 Diploma of Competitive Systems and Practices or other relevant Diploma qualification; or
- With extensive experience in manufacturing roles.
This qualification must consist of thirty (30) units of competency.

MSS405001 Develop competitive systems and practices for an organisation
MSS405013 Facilitate holistic culture improvement in an organisation
MSMENV472 Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices
The balance of the units is designed in consultation with your management team to ensure that the use of lean tools and techniques maximise the outcomes of the program from an overall business perspective.
Participants who demonstrate competency by passing both the theory and practical assessments (for all units in the list above) will receive a Qualification in MSS60316 Advanced Diploma of Competitive Systems and Practices issued by the Improve Group RTO #31506.
